Victorious

2002 NAWPN-Harness Gelding, Patijn-Koriene/Farao

Victorious came to Wauconda, IL, where Lauren worked in the summer of 2005, as a gangly three-year-old stallion. Lauren helped start him under saddle, and showed him at Training Level and the Materiale divisions in 2006, winning many blue ribbons and capturing many more hearts, from judges and spectators alike. He continued his winning ways in 2007, earning High Point honors at two out of three shows, and scoring through nearly 75%.

After taking 2008 off to train, “Midgey” made his Third Level debut in 2009, winning with consistant high-60% scores throughout the mid-Atlantic. He placed 5th in a very competitive Third Level class at the Region 1 Championships, and took Reserve honors in the Freestyle.

His successes continued in 2010, winning many accolades at Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges, including the BLM Prix St. George Senior B Finals. Midgey was also invited to the WEG Selection Trials at Gladstone, New Jersey, to perform a demonstration of the new Young Horse Grand Prix Test.

Midgey, now 9, is a Dutch gelding by the Harness Horse stallion Patijn. With his tremendous talent for collection and piaffe/passage, Lauren looks forward to continuing with the training of this exceptional youngster. Schooling all the Grand Prix work, he will make his debut at the top level in 2012.
