2006 Oldenburg Gelding, Sir Donnerhall-Alabama/Silvermoon
“Fender” is the newest member of Lauren’s competition string. A 2006 Oldenburg gelding, Stratocaster was bred in Kentucky by Donna Garner at Chinook Arch Farm. He is by the top Oldenburg breeding stallion Sir Donnerhall, whose dressage score at his 70-Day Test is the highest recorded to date - 163 points.
His dam, Alabama, is a performance Danish mare in training in Europe. Her sire, Silvermoon, is an elite Trakehner stallion most known for his famous WEG medal winning daughter, the late and great Blue Horse Matine.
Fender’s first competition season featured lots of excellent scores, culminating in the Overall High Score at the 2010 BLM Finals - a 76.8% at Training Level. Fender is schooling all the Third Level work, and is developing nicely towards FEI.
